ASSESSMENT REPORT

Your nominated contact will receive regular assessments reports noting visitors /doctor etc, detailing personal hygiene, changes in physical appearance, documenting continuing aches and pains, skin breaks, sores, bruises, appetite, noticeable changes to weight gain or loss, emotional responses, requirements for maintenance of medical equipment or house upkeep.

WE ARE DIFFERENT!

Our staff: Our carers and companions are professional, friendly and respectful. They provide unobtrusive support to maintain your privacy and dignity. We work hard to select a compatible carer or companion, someone with similar interests, to form a bond between client and carer by repeat visits by the same person.

The importance of communication: All our staff are Australian residents or have appropriate working visas. They have an excellent command of the English language so they can communicate with you on a range of levels, discuss issues of the day, read newspapers and liaise with family members. We believe effective communication is vital to the well-being of all our clients.

Our selection process: Our carers and companions are interviewed in our office by experienced consultants, carefully assessed, reference checked, security checked by the Australian Federal Police. They must demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Finally, before we place them, we ask ourselves if we would be happy having this person looking after one of our own family members.

Care support: Your Carers & Companions care co-ordinator will establish an individual care plan and co-ordinate services necessary to your physical, emotional and environmental well being. Your co-ordinator will continue to supervise your care with frequent communication and home visits.
