I have found Debbie and Joanne at Carers & Companions to be very attentive to my particular caring needs – they are responsive and considerate. In addition, they are flexible to my situation which is a little unique –this flexibility has given me more peace of mind as it enables me to have the services I need in the mode that suits. The Carer’s that they have put in place for my elderly relative are also flexible and understanding – they have been reliable and proactive. I am the main Carer for my husband who has Advanced Dementia. For the past six years, I have looked after him with the help of many Carer Workers from different Aged Care Agencies. I have found the Staff provided by Carers & Companions to be the most competent, professional, caring, gentle and patient with my husband who is a very challenging Client. Joanne, my husband’s Care Coordinator in particular has been most helpful and approachable. As the Disease progresses, changes need to be made for his ongoing care. Once made aware of these changes, she has promptly provided the extra help I need. I recommend Carers & Companions and their Staff to anyone wanting to keep their loved ones at home.

I have been employing Debbie and the Team from Carers & Companions for nearly 2 years to provide 24 hour live in care for my 86 year old mother who is a legally blind, type 1 diabetic with severe mobility issues. Debbie and her team have provided empathetic, reliable and trustworthy Carers. Often they have had to provide backup Carers at very short notice. The team really try to match my Mother and the Carer based on similar interests such as conversational skills. “Nothing is a problem” and the Team at Carers & Companions communicate with my Mother and myself with complete transparency via phone, email and in person.
